It continues to be played in countless countries around the world. It won the 1949 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and makes a great read (more than 11 million copies sold worldwide).
Written in the 40s, "Death of a Salesman" is a superb literary achievement with a rare universality. I'm moved to express my heartfelt appreciation and congratulations to Beth Lambert, Limelight's Executive Director, and to Limelight co-founder Jean Rahner, director of this production, and to the entire cast and crew, for tackling this challenging, multi-layered, nuanced script and bringing it off so brilliantly.
